Asahi Funakawa Spring Quartet Flower Garden: Tulips and Cherry Blossoms

Asahi Funakawa Spring Quartet Flower Garden features tulips and cherry blossoms. This garden isn't open year-round — it's only in bloom around April. Tulips and nanohana (rapeseed flowers) are planted here, blooming at the same time as the cherry trees lining the riverbank. Another highlight here is the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. This makes the spring scenery here truly spectacular, with the colors of the tulip fields contrasting against the yellow nanohana, the pink of the cherry blossoms, and the grayish-white mountains behind them. It's a view worth seeing at least once.

The cherry trees along the riverbank are also lit up at night. You can take a walk, enjoy the view, and take photos along the river. Cherry blossom illumination hours: 18:00 - 21:00.
