Mt.Fuji Shizuoka Area Tourist Pass Mini is a pass for traveling around Mt. Fuji and Shizuoka Prefecture. It can be used on JR trains (local/limited express, unreserved seats), some private railway lines, several bus routes, and also the ferry across Suruga Bay and the Shimizu Port Bay Cruise, within the designated zone.

Where to Buy/Pick Up the Pass
- Online: book through the JR-WEST ONLINE TRAIN RESERVATION system (the JR-Central pass uses the JR-West booking system), then pick up the pass at a designated station
- Buy at a station in Japan: available for purchase/pickup/exchange at major JR Central/JR West service counters, including Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama, Odawara, Atami, Mishima, Shin-Fuji, Shizuoka, Hamamatsu, Toyohashi, Nagoya, Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, Osaka, Kansai Airport, and more (see the full list and opening hours in the official file below)
- Buy through a tour company outside Japan: available through participating agents
Important Conditions to Know
- Only for holders of a foreign passport entering Japan under Temporary Visitor status, and you must show your passport when picking up the pass
- Not covered: the Tokaido Shinkansen and sleeper trains (an extra fare applies if you ride them)
- Bus/ferry routes and schedules may change; check the latest timetable before traveling
Important Update Notice
- As of November 1, 2024, the Suruga Bay Ferry now operates only on Fridays through Sundays and holidays (with extra sailings during some festival periods). Before using the pass on the ferry, check the daily sailing status on the official website.

- Gotemba Line : from Numazu Station to Matsuda Station
- Minobu Line: from Fuji Station to Shimobe-onsen Station

- Boarding/alighting at Miho is not allowed
This makes it well suited to viewing Mt. Fuji from Suruga Bay (unlimited ferry rides) and convenient for bus trips to Miho-no-Matsubara, Mishima Skywalk, Shuzenji Onsen, Hamanako Flower Park, and the Fuji Five Lakes.
