This street is a must-pass route on the way to Senso-ji Temple, also known as Asakusa Temple, since it stretches from the main road leading into the temple grounds. Because Senso-ji is one of Tokyo's most popular temples, the street is almost always crowded. The street is only about 250 meters long, but it is packed with shops on both sides. The main draws are food and souvenirs, including yukata sets, folding umbrellas, and a variety of snacks such as manju and other sweet treats with different fillings.
