Oishi Park: Flowers with a View of Mount Fuji

Oishi Park is one of the most popular viewpoints for Mount Fuji. From late April to early May, you can enjoy a 350-meter flower path. A pink carpet of moss phlox spreads across the area. At the same time, mustard flowers bloom, and you can photograph colorful flowers with Mount Fuji as a backdrop. Stroll along the flower path while taking in the view of Mount Fuji, and you may lose track of time.

Lavender is at its best from late June to early July. In winter, the view of Mount Fuji is especially beautiful, as the mountain is clearly visible without clouds blocking it.

Another must-see spot is Lake Kawaguchiko, the second largest of the famous Fuji Five Lakes. Of the five lakes, Lake Kawaguchiko is the most visited. The area around Lake Kawaguchiko is well developed for tourism, with lakeside hotels, hot springs, windsurfing, campsites, and many sightseeing boats.
