The Osaka Amazing Pass covers travel within Osaka city
This pass can be used without limit on the Osaka Metro, Osaka city buses, the New Tram, and the Hankyu, Hanshin, Keihan, Kintetsu, and Nankai lines within Osaka city, except for a few sections, such as between Cosmo Square Station and Yumeshima Station. It cannot be used on JR trains.
The Osaka Amazing Pass comes in 2 types
The Osaka Amazing Pass is currently available in 2 formats: a physical ticket and a Digital QR code, both with the same price and benefits.
1. Physical Ticket
- Description: A traditional paper ticket that you buy and use throughout your trip.
- Where to buy: Available at places such as Kansai International Airport, Osaka Station, major hotels, and some travel agencies.
- How to use: Insert it into the ticket gate at train and subway stations.
- Validity period: Available as a 1-day or 2-day pass. It is valid from the first time you use it until the end of that day (or the end of the following day for the 2-day pass).
2. Digital Ticket via Surutto QRtto
- Description: A digital version of the Osaka Amazing Pass that lets you travel without a paper ticket, using your smartphone.
- Where to buy: Available online through the official website or through authorized travel agencies. You will receive a QR code after purchase.
- How to use: Scan the QR code at ticket gates and attractions.
- Validity period: Same as the physical ticket, available as a 1-day or 2-day pass, valid from the first time you use it until the end of that day (or the end of the following day for the 2-day pass).
- Convenience: No need to carry a paper ticket. Everything is managed through your smartphone, making it easy and convenient to track and use.

How to use
- Ride trains, subways, and buses without limit for 1 or 2 days. The pass is activated when you first ride a train or bus or enter a free attraction.
- Once you start using it, the 1-day pass expires at the end of that day, and the 2-day pass expires at the end of the following day. So it's best to start using it as early as possible each day.
