Special tickets for getting around Osaka include:
1. Osaka Amazing Pass (1 day: ¥2,300, 2 days: ¥3,000)
Also known as the Osaka Unlimited Pass, it can be used for unlimited rides on trains and city buses in Osaka for 1-2 consecutive days, and includes admission to famous Osaka attractions such as Osaka Castle and Umeda Sky Building.
The 1-day ticket also covers non-JR trains in the city and is sold to everyone, while the 2-day ticket is sold to foreign tourists only. Both can be purchased at tourist information centers and travel agencies. This ticket is good value for anyone who wants to visit attractions around the city.
2. Osaka One-Day Pass (¥800 on weekdays, ¥600 on weekends and public holidays)
You can use it for unlimited rides on the subway, city buses, and the New Tram within 1 day. It's available at every subway station. This ticket is good value, especially on weekends, and also comes with discounts on admission to attractions.
3. Osaka Kaiyu Ticket priced at ¥2,550
This is a package ticket for admission to the Osaka Aquarium, combined with unlimited train and bus rides in Osaka within 1 day, plus discounts of up to 50% on attractions around Osaka Bay, such as the Tempozan Ferris Wheel, the Santa Maria cruise, the Captain Line, and the boat between the aquarium and Universal City port.

Rechargeable Travel Cards
1. General Rechargeable IC Cards
Osaka's rechargeable IC cards come in 2 types: Icoca, which can be purchased from automatic ticket machines at every JR station in Osaka, and Pitapa, a local card issued by a non-JR company. However, the Pitapa card works more like a credit card, so it suits Osaka residents better than tourists.
Icoca and Pitapa cards can be used on trains and buses in Osaka (and other major cities in Japan). In addition, 8 other IC cards can also be used in Osaka, such as Suica, Pasmo, Kitaca, Toica, Manaca, Sugoca, Nimoca and Hayakaken
2.Surutto Kansai Rainbow Card(¥1,000, ¥2,000 and ¥3,000)
This is an older-style stored-value card that cannot be recharged, and it must be inserted into the gate slot rather than tapped. It could be used on trains and buses in Osaka, except JR trains, but it can no longer be used (use ended in January 2018).
Its one advantage over Icoca was that it could also be used on buses in Kyoto.
Note: The Surutto Kansai Card is known by different names depending on the issuing company. For example, it's called the Lagare Card on Hankyu, the Rainbow Card for the Osaka subway, and the Miyako Card for the Kyoto subway.
There's also a card combining an express airport train service with the Icoca IC card, called the Icoca&Haruka Card, which gives a discount on round-trip express train tickets between Kansai International Airport and central Osaka.
